The PS Series is Dominator's compact plate-safe range — designed for applications where exceptional security is required but fire resistance is not. Three models from PS-1 (8L) through PS-3 (55L), all with multi-point bolt work, secondary relocking devices and adaptable lock platforms in a compact, intimidating form factor.
Why PS Series
Solid steel plate construction throughout — heavier plates than fire-rated safes of similar size, providing exceptional drilling and prying resistance in a compact body.
2-point (PS-1, PS-2) or 4-point (PS-3) handle-driven bolt work with secondary relocking devices. Universal lock footprint for key, dial or electronic configurations.
Insurable cash rating $15,000 across the range. Compact, intimidating form factor for cash-handling environments where fire resistance isn't a primary concern.

One of the most compact security safes on the market that incorporates the high security build design and locking system from higher graded models. Comprised of over 25kg of solid steel, the PS-1 is able to provide discreet security and versatile mounting options, as well as the ability to install all 3 lock types, using the universal mounting pattern.

A sleek but intimidating design, that provides exceptional security where fire resistance isn't required. Adaptable to any of the locking platforms easily. More than 30kgs of solid steel used in construction and along with the 4 prefabricated mounting holes, allows a highly effective installation.

All PS Series plate safes drawn to actual relative scale. PS-1 at 260mm through to PS-3 at 510mm — designed for compact installations where rated cash storage is needed without fire-rated bulk.
Cash and valuables ratings on every PS Series plate safe. Non-fire-rated construction allows heavier plate steel in a more compact body.

Standard across the range
PS Series safes are built around solid steel plate construction — heavier plate than equivalently-sized fire-rated safes, providing exceptional drilling and prying resistance. Hardened anti-drill plating around the lock and secondary relocking devices that engage if the lock is attacked.
Where fire resistance is not a primary concern, plate safes deliver more burglary protection per litre of internal capacity than fire-rated alternatives.
PS Series safes carry a $15,000 cash rating in unsupported applications. Where higher ratings are required, the HS Series or DS Series add fire resistance and higher cash ratings:
PS Series is the right specification when burglary protection matters but fire isn’t a relevant attack vector.
Solid steel plate construction across the PS Series — burglary protection without fire-rated bulk.
PS Series plate safes are engineered for applications where burglary resistance is the primary concern and fire resistance is not required — yielding more steel and more security per litre than fire-rated alternatives.
Heavier plate steel construction than equivalently-sized fire-rated safes — more burglary resistance per litre of capacity.
2-point (PS-1, PS-2) or 4-point (PS-3) handle-driven bolt work. Bolts engage simultaneously through a single handle motion.
Hardened steel anti-drill plating around the lock — the primary attack vector on small safes.
Secondary relocking device engages if the lock is attacked — preventing unauthorised retrieval of bolts.
Single adjustable shelf provides simple internal organisation for cash, documents and jewellery.
4 internal bolt holes per model — install under-counter, in a cupboard, or floor-mounted.
Standardised lock mounting allows easy conversion between key, combination and electronic lock types.
Durable textured black paint finish — durable in commercial and domestic environments alike.
PS Series safes are right-hand-hinge standard. 4 internal bolt holes per model allow flexible mounting — under-counter, in-cupboard or floor-fixed. Confirm install location with your dealer at order.
Every PS Series plate safe is available in three lock configurations as standard. All lock types use a universal footprint, meaning conversion between types is straightforward for a qualified safe technician.

Where the storage environment isn’t subject to a meaningful fire risk (e.g. inside a fire-resistant building, in a vault, or for short-term cash float storage), PS Series provides more burglary protection per litre than the equivalent HS Series fire-rated safe.
PS-3 (510×380×380mm, 55L) is the standard small-business plate-safe specification — fits cash floats, daily takings and till drawers in a compact footprint with 4-point bolt work.
Frequent daily access — Tecnosicurezza Pulse 2 electronic. Weekly to monthly — Group 2 mechanical dial. Occasional only — Ross 700 key lock for the most cost-efficient option.
Every DS Series safe with an electronic or biometric lock is covered by our Power for Life initiative. Once a year, you can redeem a free replacement battery at any authorised Dominator dealer — no receipts, no conditions, for as long as you own the safe.
It's our way of making sure your safe stays accessible for decades, not just years.
Power for Life applies across the full range: HS Series, DS Series, GC Series (gun cabinets), FA Series and FX Series.

PS Series plate safes can be installed by your dealer or a qualified safe installer. PS-1 and PS-2 can be positioned by one person; PS-3 typically requires two.
Mounting is essential — even a heavy plate safe can be carried away by a determined thief. PS Series safes include 4 internal bolt holes for floor, shelf or in-cupboard mounting.
Identify fixing bolt provisions — every PS Series model has 4 × internal bolt holes for floor, shelf or in-cupboard mounting. Confirm hole positions with your dealer before drilling.
Identify install position with access clearance (allow for door swing and handing)
Confirm delivery access route (doorways, corridors, stairs)
Schedule installation through your dealer — most offer delivery + install as a package
Keep installation certificate for insurance records

PS Series safes include a spring-loaded case relocker — a secondary locking mechanism designed to activate if the primary lock is attacked. Understanding how it works helps you know when it’s engaged and what to do if it is.
A thin glass plate is embedded behind the primary lock body. If a drilling, punch, or torch attack breaks the glass, spring-loaded secondary bolts deploy and jam the locking mechanism. Once activated, the safe cannot be opened even if the primary lock is subsequently bypassed — it requires professional recovery by a qualified safe technician.
The relocker is a permanent protection feature, not a consumable. It exists to make the safe effectively unusable to an attacker even if they partially succeed against the primary lock.
If you cannot open your safe and suspect the relocker has engaged (usually after attempted forced entry), contact your Dominator dealer immediately. Do not attempt forced opening — this can cause permanent damage to the safe body.
A qualified safe technician can recover the relocker and restore normal operation. The safe itself remains structurally sound and can usually return to service after a relocker recovery.
PS Series safes require minimal maintenance but benefit from occasional service to keep locks and hinges operating smoothly through years of use.
Redeem your free battery through Power for Life. Replace before low-battery warnings, not after.
Apply a drop of lock-grade lubricant to the dial spindle annually. Avoid WD-40 or general-purpose oils — they can gum up precision movements.
Book a qualified safe technician to inspect hinges, bolt work, and relocker mechanism. Typical service takes 30–60 minutes.
Check fire seals (where fitted) for compression and integrity. Replace if damaged.

Battery is most likely depleted. Replace the 9V battery and try your code again. Use a brand-new Duracell 9V Alkaline battery only. If the keypad still doesn’t respond, contact your dealer for diagnosis.
