The FA Series is Dominator's UL-TL15 certified commercial high-security range — built for businesses that hold serious cash and valuables on-premises. Six models from FA-65 through FA-180, all with 60mm high-density concrete composite construction, TDR door, and insurable cash ratings up to $250,000.
Why FA Series
Independently tested and certified to Underwriters Laboratories TL15 burglary protection standard. The FA Series is built around a TDR (Tool, Drill, Resistant) door with 60mm high-pressured concrete composite throughout.
Insurable cash rating $250,000 and valuables rating up to $2.5 million on every FA Series model. Independent ratings your insurer can use to set sub-limits.
Heavy-gauge steel and concrete composite construction. Up to 18 chrome-plated locking bolts on FA-180. FA Series safes weigh from 401kg (FA-65) to over 1.5 tonnes (FA-180).

While the FA-65 is the smallest in the series, it does not take anything away from the extreme security that comes with all FA series safes. UL Certified security ratings, using 4 directional boltwork, locked by 2 independent locking devices the FA-65 allows high value items and cash to be secured within a compacted design.

Like the FA-65 the FA-80 might be one of the smaller sized units but still backs itself up with all the security one could need. With all FA series it has 2 independent locking devices with a TDR door making the FA-80 the perfect safe for those high valuables with a little more internal space to play with.

FA-100 provides maximum level of security in a medium sized commercial safe. With 60mm of high-pressured unique concrete composite with TDR door giving it the UL-TL15 Certification.

FA-120 provides maximum level of security in a medium sized commercial safe. With 60mm of high-pressured unique concrete composite with TDR door giving it the UL-TL15 Certification.

At almost 1 tonne in weight and offering over 300L of internal security storage the FA-140 now fill the large volume requirement with the highest of security.

At 1.8m tall, the physically imposing FA-180 provides high level security for large volume storage applications. 16 locking bolts secure the door of this 1500kg safe.
All FA Series safes drawn to actual relative scale. FA-65 at 650mm through to FA-180 at 1800mm — with a 1700mm person silhouette for reference.
Independently UL-TL15 tested and certified. $250,000 cash rating and $2.5 million valuables rating apply to every FA Series model.

FA Series safes are built to a higher engineering specification than any standard commercial safe — UL-TL15 certified construction designed to resist sustained tool attack. Every feature below is standard across the range.
Tool, Drill, Resistant door independently tested and certified by Underwriters Laboratories to the TL15 standard.
High-pressured concrete composite throughout body and door — provides resistance to drilling, cutting, and torch attack.
Chrome-plated locking bolts with count scaling 2 → 18 across the range. FA-140 has 14 bolts, FA-180 has 18.
Every FA Series model is supplied with two independent locking devices for layered security and dual-control access where required.
Hardened steel anti-drill plating, anti-punch case plate, and glass panel relocker — all standard.
Tempered glass panel relocker deploys secondary locking bolts if the primary lock is attacked.
Standardised lock mounting allows easy conversion between key, combination and electronic lock types.
Durable textured black paint with clear coating provides lasting finish resistant to scratches and corrosion.
FA Series safes can be specified left-hand or right-hand hinge. Standard stock is RHH. Confirm hinge handing and mechanical handling requirements with your dealer at time of order — FA-100 and above require trolley or forklift access for installation.
Every FA Series model is supplied with two independent locks as standard. The combination of two locks on a single safe is a key part of the UL-TL15 certification — providing dual-control access and layered security.

FA Series safes are supplied with two independent locks as standard — both locks must be opened to retract the bolts. Dealer can provide configuration details and pricing for upgrade or conversion between lock types.

Every FA Series model carries the same $250,000 / $2.5M ratings — choose by storage volume and access ergonomics, not by rating. FA-100 is the most common single-business specification at 150L; FA-140 doubles capacity for high-volume operations.
FA Series is certified to UL-TL15 — a higher burglary standard than the DS Series UL-RSC certification. TL15 specifies tested resistance to specified tools for 15 minutes. Check insurance terms for which certification level your premium is calculated against.
All FA Series models ship with two independent locking devices as standard. This dual-control configuration is part of the UL-TL15 certification and provides layered security for high-value applications.
Every DS Series safe with an electronic or biometric lock is covered by our Power for Life initiative. Once a year, you can redeem a free replacement battery at any authorised Dominator dealer — no receipts, no conditions, for as long as you own the safe.
It's our way of making sure your safe stays accessible for decades, not just years.
Power for Life applies across the full range: HS Series, DS Series, GC Series (gun cabinets), FA Series and FX Series.

FA Series safes require professional installation by your dealer or a qualified safe installer. FA-100 and above require mechanical handling — a trolley, pallet jack or forklift to position the safe.
Floor bolting is essential, even for safes weighing over a tonne. FA Series safes include 2 internal recessed bolt-down provisions on every model. Confirm floor load capacity for FA-140 (943kg) and FA-180 (1557kg) before delivery.
Identify fixing bolt provisions — every FA Series model has 2 × internal recessed bolt holes. Confirm hole positions and floor load capacity with your dealer before drilling.
Identify install position with access clearance (allow for door swing and handing)
Confirm delivery access route (doorways, corridors, stairs)
Schedule installation through your dealer — most offer delivery + install as a package
Keep installation certificate for insurance records

FA Series safes include a glass relocker — a secondary locking mechanism designed to activate if the primary lock is attacked. Understanding how it works helps you know when it’s engaged and what to do if it is.
A thin glass plate is embedded behind the primary lock body. If a drilling, punch, or torch attack breaks the glass, spring-loaded secondary bolts deploy and jam the locking mechanism. Once activated, the safe cannot be opened even if the primary lock is subsequently bypassed — it requires professional recovery by a qualified safe technician.
The relocker is a permanent protection feature, not a consumable. It exists to make the safe effectively unusable to an attacker even if they partially succeed against the primary lock.
If you cannot open your safe and suspect the relocker has engaged (usually after attempted forced entry), contact your Dominator dealer immediately. Do not attempt forced opening — this can cause permanent damage to the safe body.
A qualified safe technician can recover the relocker and restore normal operation. The safe itself remains structurally sound and can usually return to service after a relocker recovery.
FA Series safes require minimal maintenance but benefit from occasional service to keep locks and hinges operating smoothly through years of use.
Redeem your free battery through Power for Life. Replace before low-battery warnings, not after.
Apply a drop of lock-grade lubricant to the dial spindle annually. Avoid WD-40 or general-purpose oils — they can gum up precision movements.
Book a qualified safe technician to inspect hinges, bolt work, and relocker mechanism. Typical service takes 30–60 minutes.
Check fire seals (where fitted) for compression and integrity. Replace if damaged.

Battery is most likely depleted. Replace the 9V battery and try your code again. Use a brand-new Duracell 9V Alkaline battery only. If the keypad still doesn’t respond, contact your dealer for diagnosis.
